John Williams is a mechanical engineering student at MIT. He started drawing cars only a few months ago, though it was an awakening of the skill that had laid dormant till then.

My mindset is totally peaceful when I draw, I’m probably doing meditation or something without even knowing it, but I just call it getting into the zone.

Sketching cars helps remind John that there is indeed a creative side to life–something that is easily forgotten in the swells of his rigorous curriculum.
